Your Responsibilities

  • You will be an essential part of further developing an established innovative financial product and will automate related business processes with the help of data science methods and models
  • You will experiment with state-of-the-art algorithms like Gradient Boosting or Random Forests, manage your training experiments with modern ML frameworks like MLFlow and thereby help lifting our product to the next level
  • You will analyze and preprocess related data pools, make decisions on the correct modelling and validate your models, create new prototypes and integrate them autonomously into the existing product and service platform
  • You will work in a multifaceted and interdisciplinary team and directly collaborate with IT developers and product managers

Your Qualifications

  • Enthusiasm for the application of mathematics and machine learning technology in order to make our financial products faster, better and even more convenient to use
  • Master’s degree or PhD in physics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, business informatics or related fields
  • Professional experience as a Data Scientist (m/f/d) or Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) of at least 4 years is mandatory
  • Solid Experience in Python and handling of machine learning and deep learning packages (e.g. scikit-learn, lightgbm, PyTorch, …)
  • High motivation to work in agile and interdisciplinary teams and to share knowledge inside the CHECK24 data science community
  • Fluent spoken and written English skills
